Monday, when we were unwrapping all of the cardboard from the furniture, I handed one of the movers a piece of cardboard shaped like lamp shades to throw away. I assumed that it had been around our lamp shades. Later that day, I started looking for those lamp shades and couldn't find them. I about had a heart attack, because I began to believe they had been inside that cardboard. We called the moving company and they had already disposed of the cardboard. The more we thought about it, it didn't make sense. Then we realized the lamp shade shaped cardboard had come off of a decorative lamp. After we had at least looked through almost every box, we still hadn't come across the lamp shades! Where could they be? Jacob finally discovered them today in the refrigerator! A great place for them to not get smashed...but totally didn't think of that!
