Bed frames tended to be expensive in Thailand and we hated to pay a lot of money when we didn't know where we would be living and what we would want to do with the girls' beds in the future. The main reason we decided to have a crate shipped back was so we could buy some hollywood bed frames (when we thought we were still going to be living in Thailand.) Then we found out we were moving to Hong Kong. Without seeing the bed frames, we bought mattresses in Thailand thinking that was the easiest and least expensive route to go. As we unpacked the bed frames from America and mattresses from Thailand, we discovered they were different sizes! The mattresses are 3-4 inches wider and longer! We went out to Ikea and bought bunk beds that can be single beds, put one together and put the pieces to the second one under Keely's bed until Jordan is ready for it. For now the two HUGE twin mattresses are just sitting in their room. Wonder who could use extra large twin mattresses?
